The Pole Room NZ is proud to present Pole Inferno 2024, Sunday 2nd June and Monday 3rd June (King's's Birthday Weekend), Wellington, New Zealand
Pole Inferno Pole Dance Competition is a fun, inclusive show that draws upon the incredible pole dance talent found throughout New Zealand.
We are looking for entertaining performers to get up on stage and show us their skills. We endeavour to offer something a bit different from other pole competitions run in New Zealand. We will include as many dancers from varied backgrounds and different levels as we can.
Pole fitness students, pole dance teachers, exotic dancers, experienced performers and new performers are all welcome to enter. Doubles pole submissions are welcome and will compete along with solo competitors. We welcome all genders.
In 2024 we will be running four categories:
1. Pole Open category - Theme 1 TBC
2. Pole Open category - Theme 2 TBC
3. Floor & Base Work - Open theme
4. Over 35s Pole category - Open theme
Pole Inferno takes place over two days: Sunday 2nd June and Monday 3rd June (King's Birthday Weekend). Our venue is Calendar Girls in Wellington and is a privately run, ticketed event.
The Pole Room NZ is a Wellington-based pole event that has been running for twelve years focusing on bringing the pole community together for entertaining pole shows featuring pole dancers from around New Zealand. 2024 is the sixth year Pole Inferno has been held.

Date of the competition is Sunday 2nd June and Monday 3rd June, (King's Birthday Weekend)
1. Pole Open theme one - Dance, flow and audience appeal are paramount. Suitable for pole students and enthusiasts with intermediate, advanced, elite pole skills and x-factor qualities. There will be a variety of skill levels in this category. There will be a theme to this category -

3. Floor & Base Work
Pole Inferno's Floor Work competition invites entrants with high-level floor work skills to apply. Pole work in this category will be limited to base work (spins and moves using the bottom part of the pole). Stripper-style will be especially showcased in this category. Theme is open. 4. Over 35s Pole category
NZ's first over 35s division gives more mature polers the opportunity to compete in their own category. The same criteria as Pole Open apply. ie, contestants will display dance ability, flow, originality and pole skills. If you are over 35 please consider entering this - (You are welcome to enter the other categories instead if you wish). Theme is open. Monday 3rd June show
